SUSPENSION SYSTEM
Factor RR
PBA (Performance Bearing Allocation) multi pivot system with four pivots and Horst Link, 120mm travel. The PBA counts on new designs for the CNC drop outs, and also the Horst Link has been moved compared with OBA, looking for higher pedalling efficiency what means giving up a little of sentitivity, improving performance. Like the OBA system, the PBA disallows contamination between rear shock action and pedalling strength so chain pulls disappear. Besides fully isolates brakes action avoiding the compression or extension of the system thanks to braking strengths. This design is characterized by getting great rigidity thanks to its CNC drop outs and square section main link and rearstay. Also features high reliability due to sealed bearings in all pivots. When suspension performs, rear wheel describes linear movement perpendicular to the ground. This way we increase bike drive as the wheel remains in contact to the ground.

PBA four bar system
The new PBA system, Performance Bearing Allocation, starts from a distorted parallelogram suspension system with four pivots and Horst, but this chainstay pivot is low placed and also has been brought forward from the usual position; the aim of it is to rise de optimum pedalling point to achieve higher pedalling performance and also lower sensitivity to avoid the shock movement. Factor Frame is made of aluminium 6061 T6 with monocoque technology under the specs developed by the Mondraker R&D Department. The latest technical applications has been used for the assembling of the Factor in order to get an independent suspension performance together with an excellent geometry and strength perfect for an Enduro use with 120mm travel.
