Being successful in XC Racing competition today mainly requires two things: a truly motivated rider who is willing to fight for every second and a bike that constantly translates his power and riding skills into propulsion and speed.
So, back in 2015 our vision started from the idea to simply build the very best full suspension XC Racing bike that we can possibly think of - and make it the perfect racing machine for the most ambitioned XC riders and racers out there!
But instead of just adding our award winning Zero Suspension system to our world cup winning Podium hard tail race bike, we completely rethought our understanding of what high performance means. And that’s where our three-year journey began.
Today, our most ambitious project of the last few years becomes reality. We proudly present the all new F-Podium. A bike which truly marks nothing short of a culmination in our history: Full Racing redefined!
A QUANTUM LEAP IN HIGH PERFORMANCE.
Countless prototypes tested. Three long years of development. Two years test racing under the relentless conditions of the UCI MTB XCO World Cup. And one goal: develop the most advanced Mountainbike ever manufactured.
Our journey to a new standard of high performance started in Germany where we joined forces with a world market leader in Automotive and Aerospace carbon technology. Our intention was clear: benefit from what makes supercars and aerospace vehicles light, fast and superior - and translate it into a bike like no other. As a result, the refined and truly unique Stealth Air Carbon structure used in the F-Podium features latest technologies that have never been used in a Mountainbike to date. Here the finest selection of carbon fibers, a revolutionary laminate design and market leading manufacturing technologies blend into one of the lightest full suspension XCO Racing frames in the market - without sacrificing even one shred of strength or durability.
Combined with the likewise optimized Mondraker key technologies Zero Suspension and Forward Geometry the F-Podium is an XCO Racing bike like no other. When speaking about the F-Podium the most radical change compared to our Podium hard tail is the implementation of our groundbreaking Zero Suspension system.
After having been refined by our engineers to meet the limited space available in the F-Podiums muscular design, Zero Suspension now marks the first double pivot suspension system ever used in an XC bike.
It truly combines the compliance and efficiency of a hard tail bike and the shock absorption and reserves of a full suspension in a whole new way. Technology that changes everything.
After we had the first F-Podium prototypes tested by those, who know best about the true meaning of performance - our Primaflor-Mondraker Team racers - our frame design underwent some key adjustments: a steeper seat angle, slacked steering angle and an even longer reach. Small in numbers but profound in effect these changes have turned our iconic Forward Geometry into what we think is the most aggressive XCO geometry in the market today.
Like no other geometry concept our XCO GEO inspired by forward geometry supports a super direct handling, high speed stability and superior manoeuvrability.

The all new F-Podium will be available in 3 evolutions: F-Podium, F-Podium R and F-Podium RR. Also, a frameset be available. All bikes share the same Stealth Air Carbon frame, manufacturing process and features. You can distinguish each evolution from its unique build which aims to provide the right level of performance for your demand. For those who require maximum performance or just are waiting for a dream come true there is the superlative F-Podium RR SL - a limited edition dream machine with an even more exclusive frameset.
To make it the crown jewel within our range we equipped it with only the finest parts available advancing nearly all customization potential. Also, we took obsessive care of the selection of carbon fibres which are then laminated in an even more laborious manual process – both to save the very last gram available in the F-Podium frame. It goes without saying that the F-Podium RR SL is one of the most special and exclusive bikes currently available. So, it’s all set for you to find the model built to match your demand.
- MONOBLOCK CARBON UPPER LINK
The F-Podium follows the cutting-edge design introduced in other Mondraker models during the past seasons featuring a Trunnion full carbon upper linkage. This new kinematic layout offers a better and more supple rear suspension performance. Also, it achieves a greater lateral and torsional stiffness compared to any other traditional designs, with less lateral stress for the shock ensuring the best performance and duration.
- SHORTER FORK OFFSETS: 44 MM
A common feature to most Mondraker models - already present on all XC Podium models for the last three years – is a shorter 44 mm fork offset which perfectly matches our XCO Forward Geometry F-Podium frame. Shorter fork offsets increase the “trail” which translates into stability gains, increased confidence and grip of the front tire when railing turns. So, it offers a greater feeling of confidence and control backed by our distinctive F-Podium geometry.
- 1X12 DRIVETRAIN SPECIFIC DESIGN
12 speeds are a standard in the market today for both Shimano and SRAM drive trains. We have designed F-Podium with a compact and robust 432 mm chainstay design to perfectly accommodate this type of 1x12 drivetrains.
- HHG INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING: FOX LIVE VALVE COMPATIBLE
F-Podium benefits from our HHG technology with internal routing for the rear brake and derailleur housings as well as the possibility of installing a dropper post with internal routing on any of the models. HHG has some external stops to fix the housings avoiding any possible noise, keeping the design tidier and as clean as possible. Likewise, all four F-Podium models are compatible with the new FOX Live Valve suspension system if required.
- OVERSIZED PIVOT THRU AXLES AND BEARINGS
One of the key characteristics of the great F-Podium performance in relation to other similar models is its exquisite rear suspension action. This is achieved not only with a perfect system layout, kinematic optimization and an internal and exclusive shock customization. It’s also the result of a robust and laterally strong suspension design that avoids any unwanted flex when pedalling up to maximum effort. F-Podium has rigid and reliable 15 mm rear suspension collet axle pivots and exclusive bearings that ensure the best and smoothest possible performance.
- BOOST STANDARD HUB SPACING – 12X148 mm & 15X110 mm
The F-Podium features Boost standard hubs with 110x15 mm front and 148x12 mm rear spacing.
- INTEGRATED REAR SHOCK MUDGUARD
The new F-Podium full carbon swingarm design features a small and exclusive protective shock fender that ensures the best and smoothest rear suspension action. Moreover, it takes care for a superior reliability and lifespan of all moving parts in the Zero suspension lower link by keeping the suspension clean in any weather condition.
- EXCLUSIVE CHAINSTAY PROTECTOR
The F-Podium introduces a new and unique chainstay protector of exclusive design. It’s made of special rubber with absorbent properties that ensures the best possible protection and the quietest ride when pedalling or coasting in bumpy or technical terrains.
- BB73 THREADED BOTTOM BRACKET / TAPERED HEADTUBE / POSTMOUNT REAR BRAKE CALIPER
F-Podium has a standard threaded bottom bracket with a shell width of 73 mm. The headtube is tapered, 1-1/8 "upper, 1-1/2" lower. The rear brake is post-mount with the calliper located between chainstays and seatstays for a more integrated design, improving brake efficiency and minimizing noise and vibrations.
